At Rolf Education we take steps that contribute to sustainability. We want to make the world a better place and give children a fair and green planet. Because the toys our children play with do not only have an impact on their development but also on their future.

How do we do that?

• Our boxes are FSC certified and made from 100% recycled cardboard
• We are officially FSC certified
• The ink on the packaging boxes does not contain mineral oils
• The stuffing material in the boxes is made from 100% recycled plastic
• We use the most suitable box for each order
• We think along with our customers to limit extra transport
• We try to limit waste and a negative environmental impact by sending digital invoices, order confirmations and quotations

Rolf Education is proud to have obtained the FSC certificate.

The FSC certification is a cornerstone of our commitment to protecting forests and promoting environmentally responsible practices.

What is the FSC certification?

The Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) is a globally recognized certification that ensures wood and wood-based products come from responsibly managed forests. These forests are underly strict environmental, social and economic standards.

Over the next period of time we will work hard on making our assortment more sustainable.
Step by step and together with our suppliers Rolf Education is going work on a big FSC certified assortment. This process asks for patience. Which means that not all Rolf products will be immediately substituted by FSC certified products. We promise to work hard on having as many FSC certified products in our assortment as possible in the upcoming years.

Sustainable products

• We are actively looking for partners with environmentally friendly products
• We are actively looking for ways to make our own products more environmentally friendly
• Together with manufacturers, we are actively looking for eco-friendly alternatives as raw material for our products
• We offer a whole range of eco-friendly sandpit materials and are busy expanding our so called ECO-Line
• All sand pit materials from our ECO-Line are made from 100% biobased carbon content
• We cooperate with sustainable brands like BiOBUDDi and PlayMais
• We have an exclusive collaboration with BiOBUDDi. BiOBUDDi makes durable and environmentally friendly toys which are CO2 neutral, 100% recyclable and biobased. All BiOBUDDi products are made in the Netherlands

We are actively looking for ways to make our own products more environmentally friendly and are eager to add more sustainable products to our assortment in the future.
